Top 5 bad postures that can affect your health

http://health.india.com/diseases-condit ... ur-health/

Posture must be given the same importance as other healthy choices like exercising, eating right, resting well, etc. You cannot think of being fit and healthy without giving due importance to your posture. One of the biggest advantages of maintaining good posture is that is makes you more energetic, healthier, and enables you to move gracefully. Good posture is more about being conscious of yourself and in rhythm with your entire body. When your body is properly aligned, your bones, rather than your muscles support your weight and thus strain and effort on the body is greatly reduced.

"As a result of tightening budgets and a lack of economic certitude, both employers and employees are asking themselves the same kinds of questions in determining whether or not to schedule ergonomic evaluations or training. And whether or not an employer is proactive or reactive in providing evaluations and training, many staffers have become a bit more hesitant to call attention to themselves for fear that they will seem like complainers in strenuous times! We have found that this holds true for even the most proactive of companies, which encourage speaking out and asking for help if you feel discomfort! It is just the nature of human beings to be cautious and concerned about calling attention to themselves."

You’re the Best Ergonomist You Will Ever Find!

http://blog.pbergo.com/?p=433

In truth, in the first instance, these are quite simple questions with one simple answer: “if it feels good and is comfortable, you are probably on the right track!”"
